About Jennifer
Life can be hard! Jobs, kids, bills, relationships can become overwhelming. When you add additional life stressors it can feel as though it's unmanageable. As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, my role is to come alongside you and help you learn to build resilience, learn new, healthier coping skills and make meaningful changes in your thought processes which can improve the quality of your life. I have experience helping clients learn to manage stress, deal with childhood and adult trauma and handle anxiety and depression.
My favorite modality is Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Learning how to change the way we think can change the very makeup of our lives! I encourage clients to take a look at their core beliefs about themselves and determine where they came from and if they are even true. The things we have internalized can negatively affect our day to day lives.
I would love to help you navigate your journey toward mental wellness in a safe, non-judgmental space with empathy and understanding.
